Q: WHY BUY SEASON PASS INSURANCE?
A:  Terry Peak will not refund your money or give you a credit for the following season if you are unable to use your ski pass.  Thus, it's a "use-it-or-lose-it" proposition. Missing out on skiing is bad enough ... but to lose your investment in a season pass would be even more disappointing.
Q: WHAT COVERAGES ARE PROVIDED?
A:
Loss of Use Insurance covers you if a covered injury or illness prevents you from skiing at Terry Peak for at least 30 consecutive days during the ski season. Injury or sickness may occur anywhere in the world, not just at Terry Peak. You will be reimbursed for the value of your unused pass.  Emergency Evacuation Insurance covers you up to $15,000 for losses which occur while skiing at Terry Peak. Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance covers you up to $10,000 for losses which occur while skiing at Terry Peak.

Q: WHEN AM I COVERED?
A:
Coverage is in force from the effective date until the season ends.  The effective date is the date you buy a season pass or the date you purchase coverage (whichever is later).

Q: WHEN SHOULD I ENROLL?
A:  We recommend that you purchase coverage as soon as you buy your season pass from Terry Peak. If you already bought your season pass without insurance, you may enroll online at any time.

Q: HOW MUCH COVERAGE DO I NEED?
A: The amount to insure is the price paid for your season ski pass. If you rent a ski locker or privileged parking, these options may also be insured

Q: HOW DOES COVERAGE WORK WITH A FAMILY PASS?
A: Each family member is covered for his/her interest in the pass.  For example,  if one person has a valid loss of use claim only that family member will be reimbursed.

Q:  DO LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS APPLY?
A: Yes, as with most insurance policies, the scope of coverage is limited.  To familiarize yourself with the benefits and exclusions before enrolling, you should examine the insurance provisions online.  Please review the terms and conditions before you buy.  If you have any questions, contact Skier Insurance Services:

            Tel: 800/ 624-0039        Fax: 406/ 752-5839        info@skierguard.com

Q: IS THIS PRIMARY OR SECONDARY INSURANCE?
A:
Loss of Use Insurance is primary; this coverage is not present in any other type of insurance you may have.  Emergency Evacuation Insurance is secondary to any other valid and collectible insurance which you may have in force. There are no deductible or co-insurance clauses under either benefit.

Q:  HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
A:
The cost is 6% of your season pass price (plus options, if applicable). You may pay with a major credit card or a personal check. A Description of Coverage will be sent to you; be sure to review this document carefully as coverage is limited!

Q:  WHAT IS A PRE-EXISTING CONDITION?
A:
Any illness or injury which existed during the 60 day period before the effective date is a "pre-existing condition". Such conditions are excluded. See the complete definition in the Description of Coverage.

Q:  WHICH INSURANCE COMPANY PROVIDES THE COVERAGE?
A:
National Union Fire Insurance Company of Pittsburgh, Pa., is the underwriter. For more information, go to About Us.

Q:  WHAT IF A LOSS OCCURS?
A:  In event of a covered loss, notify Skier Insurance Services immediately.   You may request a claim form online by clicking Claims Service.
